標題[問題] I485 律師刻意不填SSN?

最近Review律師填的I485內容，發現律師沒寫SSN，他們只簡單回這是出於安全考量 We
leave out SSNs because that is sensitive personal information that is not req
uired by USCIS. We always leave that field blank to protect the applicants.
14. Has the Social Security Administration (SSA) ever officially issued a Soci
al Security card to you? 這裡是YES
If you answered “Yes,” provide the information requested
in Item Number 15.
15. Provide your U.S. Social Security Number (SSN). 這裡是空白
AP/EAD申請表也都沒填SSN，但我看485 Instruction明確說must enter the SSN如果你有
。

if the Social Security Administration (SSA) has ever officially issued you a
Social Security Card. If the SSA ever issued a Social Security card to you in
your name or a previously used name such as your maiden name, then you must en
ter the SSN from your card in Item Number 15
好奇...不寫是律師間的common practice嗎? 因為平常SSN也是有問就給，沒特別藏起來
