標題[問題] 美國F1/485 pending報稅-NRA, Form 8843

有在美報稅的問題想請教板友：
我去年開始至今都是用F1 OPT EAD在美國工作 （F1在美期間少於五年），用
substantial presence test判斷，我是nonresident alien (NRA)。
(1) 我去年八月file了I-485（still pending），並沒有使用485 AP 以及
485 EAD，我的理解是我仍然是NRA for 2018 tax year，請問正確嗎？
(2) 填寫Form 8843 的疑問：第13題（During 2018, did you apply for, or
take other affirmative steps to apply for, lawful permanent resident
status in the United States or have an application pending to change
your status to that of a lawful permanent resident of the United
States?）我回答yes，但第14題（If you checked the “Yes” box on
line 13, explain）我不確定該怎麼填寫才對，不太清楚這題目的為何。目前是
填： “My I-485 application was filed in August 2018. It is still
pending as of April 2019.”不知道這樣填對不對，請問是否有板友願意分享
第14題應該怎麼填比較好？
