標題[心得] 結婚綠卡I-485申請分享

背景說明：
先生拿綠卡超過十年，
2007年底我們才正式移居美國；我拿的是E1簽證。
先生在2011年12月宣誓成為公民。
我們在加州Sacramento
時程表：
拿到先生公民紙後馬上準備文件及體檢
2012年1月17日遞件
1月23日USCIS收到申請
1月28日左右收到指紋通知
1月28日左右亦收到RFE，一頁表格漏簽名，2天後寄回
2月16日蓋指紋
3月7日左右收到面試通知（4／10）
3月15日線上查到EAD／AP通過
3月30日左右收到EAD／AP卡
4月10日面試，沒有當面說通過與否
4月12日線上查到I-485通過
4月26日左右收到綠卡

Really appreciated the information; saved us a lot of time.
Secondly, we has been living in US for four years when applied.
A lot documents are just from daily life.
Here are the list of what had prepared when applied:
A copy of our marriage certificate;
A copy of my husband's naturalization certificate and passport;
Tax return transcripts from the year 2008, 2009, 2010;
My husband's paystubs from the most recent 6 months;
A copy of joint house grand deed;
A copy of joint bank statement;
A copy of joint insurance policy.
Below are additional documents brought to interview:
Property tax bill with both our names;
Latest utility bill with both our names;
Latest joint bank statement;
Copy of 2011 tax return (filed joint);
Photos of wedding, honey moon, as well as selected photo of us and with
family up to 2011(by Powerpoint album and printed on regular paper)
During the interview, the officer asked yes-no question from the application.
And then asked how we met and how long.
He also asked about why I went to Rutgers to study (I had F1 at 2001)
(I answered because the other choice I had was Arizon Univerity; but it is
too hot at Arizon.)
Then basically ask no more questions; just asked us to show him all the
additional documents we prapared.
I forgot to bring original marriage certificate; which is not right thing
to do. But it turned out alright.
So, about one month right after my husband got his citizenship, we appliced.
And I got my 10-year greed card within three month. By the way, we married
over four years when applied.
