It was the first of just three games Iverson played for Memphis before being released and signing with Philadelphia on Dec. 3. Iverson missed the 76ers' previous four games before returning Monday in Portland, Ore., to register 19 points and five assists in Philadelphia's 104-93 victory over the Trail Blazers. 這是JT對上穿上七六人球衣的AI的第一次 雖然AI在今年對灰熊開幕戰時已經來過Arco 但後來他在灰熊只打了三場球 , 後來被釋出轉而回到娘家七六人 AI最近在MISS四場球之後, 在最近對上拓荒者的比賽回歸 並且拿下19分, 五助攻的佳績 , 幫助七六人打敗阿拓 Iverson isn't playing at the level he was in 2001, when he was the NBA MVP, but Thompson still has respect for him. AI當然不如01年十那般神勇了 但JT一樣很尊敬他 "I don't know how to compare him now just because he's not playing the same minutes, but he's still got it," Thompson said. "He's still definitely a force. They had a big win in Portland (Monday) night, and he played well." JT說 "我只道他現在的角色比較不同了,但他仍然作的很好 他絶對還是個威脅 , 他們星期一對阿拓時有著重大的勝利打的很好" Iverson is averaging 18.8 points in his past four games.
