The Applied English Department of I-Shou University invites students of all departments to join our ENGLISH DEBATE CLUB The idea of this club is to offer students a chance to practice and improve their English language abilities. At the same time the students could also learn more about the international world. Come and join our debates – or just listen to them. We will discuss TOPICS OF GLOBAL CONCERN in a relaxed atmosphere, guided by professors of our department. The first session will be on Wednesday, October 17th in the Seminar Room 1601 of the Applied English Department from 10-12 a.m. The meetings will be once in two weeks on Wednesdays (same time, same place), i.e. the next session will take place on Oct. 31.
