The striker collected one of football's most prestigious individual honours at the PFA's awards ceremony in London on Sunday night. In doing so, Harry becomes the fourth Spur to lift the award after Glenn Hoddle (1980), Kyle Walker (2012) and Gareth Bale (2013). Earlier, he was also named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Season, again voted for by his peers. The Academy graduate has enjoyed a fantastic season. After yesterday’s 2-2 draw at Southampton - where he claimed an assist for the first goal - Harry has 30 goals in 47 appearances in all competitions (35 starts) and 20 in 30 in the Premier League (24 starts). He scored his first senior hat-trick against Asteras Tripolis in the Europa League in October and then his first Premier League treble for us against Leicester City in March. He scored twice in our home wins against Chelsea and Arsenal, was named Barclays Player of the Month in January and February and won BBC Match of the Day’s Goal of the Month for January. To cap it all, he marked his senior debut for England with a goal just 79 seconds after coming off the bench in a Euro 2016 qualifying win against Lithuania at Wembley in March – the third-fastest goal by a debutant in Three Lions’ history.
