Rovers and Spurs in Bentley talks
Blackburn Rovers have confirmed they are in negotiations with Tottenham over
the possible sale of David Bentley.
But chairman John Williams has told BBC Radio Lancashire the club have yet to
accept a bid for the England winger.
Bentley, 23, has made no secret of his desire to quit Ewood Park despite only
signing a contract extension in 2007.
Blackburn have already rejected bids from Tottenham and Aston Villa for
Bentley who is expected to cost buying clubs in the region of ￡17m.
Spurs will be looking to strengthen their attack after the sale of
influential striker Robbie Keane to Liverpool - a move which could see the
club receive a total of ￡20.3m in transfer fees.

說不定Gio會被放到前鋒線 但是目前他的體型要踢前鋒我有點不樂觀
