Juande Ramos was left to reflect on another lead lost as Middlesbrough fought back for a point at the Lane on Saturday. Aaron Lennon met Dimitar Berbatov's cross and Jon Grounds deflected into his own net to deservedly hand us the advantage after 26 minutes. Mark Schwarzer saved well twice and Berbatov hit the post at the start of the second half but Middlesbrough were rejuvenated after Stewart Downing's equaliser after 69 minutes. Gareth Southgate's men had the best of the latter chances as it ended 1-1 - the third-successive game in the Barclays Premier League where we've led but not hung on to maximum points. "We played well in the first half and the first 10, 15 minutes of the second half but we didn't score a second goal and that allowed Middlesbrough to get back into the game," reflected Juande at the Lane. "Perhaps we dropped our guard a little - we allowed their play to develop and that led to a draw. "We are starting games well, taking the lead and for one reason or another the opposing team draws level.
