Jamie O’Hara is confident we can over-turn a 1-0 deficit and make it through to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup against PSV Eindhoven. The 21-year-old praised the way our opponents applied themselves at White Hart Lane last night and is expecting more of the same in next week’s return leg in Holland. But with only one goal in the tie after the first 90 minutes, Jamie believes we should not be down-beat about our chances of qualification. He said: “PSV came here and did well. They had a plan to hit us on the counter-attack and stay on the ball as much as they could, and we struggled to break them down. “The gaffer said at half-time that we’d have to change our style of play because they were stopping us from playing by pressing high up the pitch. In the end we had to revert to long balls and trying to grab a goal like that. “We were pushing and looking for an equaliser, but we’ve got to look at it in a sense that it’s only 1-0 and we believe we can go there and win. “We had to be careful because we didn’t want to throw everything forward and then get caught out and go 2-0 or 3-0 down.” Jamie himself had a chance of levelling the scores up five minutes from time, but his sweet volley whistled agonisingly past the post. He added: “I was gutted my volley didn’t go in.
