新聞來源 - Sky Sports Spurs axe for Kaboul Younes Kaboul has been dropped by Juande Ramos for Tottenham's Uefa Cup clash against Anderlecht on Thursday. The young French defender, signed for 6.8million from Auxerre by former boss Martin Jol in the summer, has endured a torrid time in recent weeks. He was substituted at half-time after giving away a penalty in Spurs' 3-2 defeat against Birmingham on Sunday and was at fault for West Ham's goal in the 1-1 draw at Upton Park. Kaboul was not even in the travelling party for the trip to Belgium, despite Ledley King, Ricardo Rocha and Anthony Gardner all remaining on the sidelines through injury. Ramos will either move Didier Zokora from midfield to play in central defence or switch Pascal Chimbonda from full-back. The Spaniard insists Kaboul still has a future at White Hart Lane and claims he is merely utilising his squad during a busy period in the season. Ramos told the Daily Mirror: "Kaboul has not travelled because you make your selections on who is the most suitable for each game. "When you have a squad of 22 or so players at the club, it means you can make changes, get players fit, let others rest. "That is so important when you are playing in such a long season and you play Sunday, Thursday, Sunday." Zokora feels the entire Spurs side need to take responsibility for the club's defensive woes this season, which has seen them concede 28 goals in 15 league games. He said: "It's difficult for Younes, but he is a strong boy.
