We are delighted to announce that young striker Tomas Pekhart has signed a new contract at the Club. Tomas enjoyed an impressive first season after joining us from Slavia Prague in the summer of 2006, scoring 20 goals in 19 appearances for our Under-18s and featuring 12 times for the reserves. Still just 18, Tomas was the youngest player to play in the summer’s FIFA Under-20 World Cup, where the Czech Republic reached the final and has started this season’s European U21 Championship qualifying campaign in fine form, scoring five goals in his first four games.
