Tottenham Hotspur to open Davies auction
Tottenham Hotspur Football Club are set to make the first move for
Curtis Davies.
The highly-rated defender looks certain to leave West Bromwich Albion this
summer following their failure to clinch promotion to The Premiership, after
their play-off final defeat to Derby County at Wembley.
A number of clubs in the top-flight have been linked with the former
Luton Town man including Arsenal and Liverpool, yet Tottenham are believed to
be most keen on the player.
And according to reports, manager Martin Jol will test the resolve of the
Baggies by making an offer in the region of 8million to bring Davies to
White Hart Lane.
