The South Korean is recovering from a knee operation that caused him to miss the last month of the Premier League season and was walking freely at Incheon International Airport as he went to talk to reporters. “Competition for places will make the season more exciting. Someone who comes in and plays well is good for the team and it is also good for me,” Lee said. The 30 year-old hasn’t ruled out the possibility of recovering in time for July’s Asian Cup campaign. “I am recovering quickly, “Lee added, “but I don’t want to rush back. When I can play normally then I will play.
