The defender suffered torn ligaments in his left knee in Tottenham's Uefa Cup first leg clash at Sevilla last week. The 29-year-old played the full 90 minutes at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium but later complained of soreness. He is expected to be sidelined for three months and a decision whether he will require surgery will be made next week.
