新聞來源 - Sky Sports Jol unsure over huge Carrick bid Martin Jol admits he does not know whether Tottenham could reject a 20 million bid for Michael Carrick. Manchester United launched a bid earlier in the summer - with reports suggesting the offer was around 10 million. Sir Alex Ferguson has already insisted that he will not up his bid, but even if he did - it is now suggested United would have to go as high as 20 million. "We had an offer for Carrick and everybody knows that," Jol is quoted in the Daily Express. "Hopefully he will be our player next year. He came back on Friday with the other internationals and it was good to see him - so Michael is still one of our players and he will be involved in pre-season. "But as for whether we would accept 20million - I cannot comment on that."
