新聞來源 - Sky Sports Jol tips bright Lennon future Tottenham boss Martin Jol believes Aaron Lennon is one of the most exciting talents to emerge in England in the past ten years. Lennon celebrates his 19th birthday on Sunday safe in the knowledge he has already proved an overwhelming success in the capital since joining Tottenham a year ago from Leeds. Combining lightning pace and an ability to beat players at will, Lennon has firmly established himself as a fans' favourite and his manager is equally enthusiastic in his evaluation of the starlet. Jol is of the opinion that Lennon is capable of matching the finest creative talents in The Premiership and is predicting a bright future for the England hopeful. ''He is one of the most exciting talents of the past ten years,'' Jol told The Sun. ''(Shaun) Wright-Phillips is like him but I don't think Wright-Phillips was 18 when you noticed him. ''Talent-wise, Aaron is better though (Arjen) Robben was unbelievable at 16. ''Aaron has only played 30, 35 games. Can you imagine if he played 50, 75 games? ''Players like him, (Thierry) Henry, (Cristiano) Ronaldo and Robben will make a difference in the future because it is not easy to open up defences. ''The only ones that can do it are the skilful players who try something.'' Meanwhile, reports are suggesting Spurs are ready to step-up their interest in Bayer Leverkusen forward Dimitar Berbatov. The talented Bulgarian looks like he could be on the move in the summer but has previously stated a preference for Spain - with Valencia mooted as strong suitors.
