新聞來源 - Sky Sports Jol reveals Spurs' need Tottenham head coach Martin Jol concedes that finishing below fourth place would now constitute a failure for Spurs. The North London club are currently in the driving seat for the fourth and final qualification place for next season's UEFA Champions League. At least three other sides - Arsenal, Blackburn and Bolton - are all in contention to displace Spurs, however, and Jol is determined that his side follow up Saturday's win over Birmingham and fend off their respective challenges. The Dutchman claims a fourth-place finish would be a fitting testament to the significant overhaul of the playing squad that he has implemented in less than a year-and-a-half in charge at White Hart Lane. "We have embarked on a massive rebuilding programme at the club and people shouldn't lose sight of where we have come from in a very short space of time," Jol told the Mirror. "Did you know only two players were in the side last week that played in the corresponding fixture at Chelsea last season? Only Robbie Keane and Ledley King were involved. "I said last year this would be a big club again and people seemed to think that I was either being cynical or was joking. "I believe in my players and I know they share the desire and ambition I have to create something special here.
