新聞來源 - Sky Sports Jol concern at recent results Tottenham boss Martin Jol has admitted that he is concerned by his side's recent results. Spurs have recorded just one victory in their last six Premiership games, and are in danger of losing their grip on fourth place and qualification for next season's UEFA Champions League. They are now just five points ahead of Arsenal, who have a game in hand on their London rivals, with several other clubs also within striking distance. Jol is disappointed that Tottenham have failed to build up a significant gap over the chasing pack, with recent draws against Wigan and Sunderland particularly frustrating. "It is true we have won just one game out of six, but we deserved more from the Aston Villa game and didn't get it. We also deserved more against Sunderland but got caught out late on," he sighed. "In the rest, like Liverpool, we did all right. People told us we were one of the best teams to have played there, but we took nothing when we really wanted to do well against a top side. "There was also the Fulham game where we again let in a late goal from a free kick. It was a game where we were able to play well and should have got a result. "It is good that we are in fourth, but if you really want to be a contender you have to win when you play well. "The line between success and failure is so thin and we can't push our luck. I felt the disappointment of the fans because we needed a win to create a cushion (against Wigan on Sunday)." With 11 games still to go in the league there is everything to play for, but Jol is aware of the magnitude of the task facing his side, with a difficult run-in, including games against Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and several of the teams battling to avoid relegation, lying ahead. "We don't have a lot of time and we have a very difficult programme ahead of us," he explained. "We have 11 games left to look forward to and we want to achieve something.
