Mido snubs Roma return Egyptian striker Mido has snubbed the chance to return to Roma, saying he is thriving on life in The Premiership with Tottenham. Mido is in the middle of an 18-month loan spell at White Hart Lane and he has increased his stock with a string of impressive displays alongside Robbie Keane this term. The powerful forward's impressive efforts have caught the eye of Roma who have sounded out Mido over a return to the Eternal City. Mido, though, has no intention of turning his back on Spurs and is keen to secure a long-term deal in North London. "Roma wanted me to come back to help them in Serie A but I refused because as I said before I want to stay at Tottenham," said Mido. "I am pleased to be playing with friends like Robbie Keane and Edgar Davids who are stars for the club and their countries. My relationship with the manager is good. "I feel my experience at Spurs is successful and I am really happy with it, because since a young age I've always wanted to play in the English Premier League.
