Jol has already played down reports of a rift with the former West Ham United ace, who has voiced a concern about losing his spot in Sven Goran Eriksson's plans. But though Defoe is desperate to play for England at the World Cup finals in Germany, he is adamant it will not tempt him into leaving White Hart Lane.
