Returning to the trapping style they thrived on late in the regular season, the Bobcats forced 21 turnovers, resulting in 31 Charlotte points. But when they weren't in transition, they acted as if there was a rule against the ball going into the lane. "I never thought I'd coach a team where one-third of our shots would be 3s,'' Brown said. "We can't take 23 3s.'' Certainly not when you make only five of them. Jackson led Bobcats scoring with 19 points, but he was 1-of-7 outside the arc. Point guards Felton and D.J. Augustin were a combined 0-of-7 on 3s. The Magic is obviously very good, and point guard Jameer Nelson was spectacular with 32 points. But Brown knows this was a blown opportunity. "I want us to run on every play, and if we don't have an easy shot, I want us to have some organization,'' Brown said. "We defended well. We just have to do a better job of executing.''
