Bell strained his right groin late in the third quarter of Charlotte's loss to Atlanta on Friday. Bell, who missed five games just over a month go with a similar injury to his left groin, said Saturday that he won't play Sunday at Miami or Monday against the Los Angeles Clippers. Bell indicated he might miss up to a week. Coach Larry Brown said little-used Shannon Brown will likely start in his place. The injury leaves the Bobcats without their top defender for Miami's Dwyane Wade Sunday, and leaves the Bobcats without two starters. Small forward Gerald Wallace isn't expected back until after the Feb. 13-15 All-Star break as he continues to recover from a partially collapsed lung and a broken rib. But Wallace participated in non-contract drills and rode a stationary bike Saturday while wearing a flak jacket. It was his first physical activity since being injured Jan. 27 against the Los Angeles Lakers.
