They were in a lot of games, but like any young team, had difficulty clos -ing them out. Injuries to Emeka Okafor and Sean May crippled their frontcourt, leaving Primoz Brezec as their primary go-to guy in the post. As improved as he has become, he's not a post-up player and it hurt the Bobcats that they didn't have a big SG who could make plays. Both Brevin Knight and Raymond Felton playe -d exceptionally well at the 2, but they are not the answer. (Wallace averaged 2 and 2 in the defensive categories, only the third time it’s happened in NBA history, yet gets next to no love from the vot -ers.
