The 6x grand slam champion now has a weekend to rest, and focus sights on the adventures ahead. Justine will play Patty Schynder on Monday in the round of 16. Justine started Friday bright and early at 11:00am on Court 2, the tennis world's favorite urban myth dubbed the "Graveyard of Champions. As with most stories - the facts have been stretched, and the actual famous players who lost on Court 2, other than a pre-grand slam John McEnroe in 1979, were all Wimbledon title winners. The curse of Court 2 doesn't stick on a Roland Garros champion as Justine proved today. The world #1 began by breaking Vesnina's opening service game, and it set the melody for the entire match. Justine had a wonderful day with an incredible 91% average in two sets of winnings first serves, while Elena Vesnina was at 0 over 0 in breakpoints. The first set was over in 22 minutes at 6-1. The second set was no different as Justine glided on the grass, but Vesnina started to hold serve stronger. The Russian's finest moments were off her baseline for nifty volleys, and slices at net. A sudden downpour caused a disruption of play at 3-2 in the second set. The players returned 85 minutes later, and Justine continued where she left off in the opening set. Vesnina held her strongest service game to equal the scoreline at 3-3, but the refined racquet technique, and fluent Henin footwork on grass intimidated Vesnina as she unravelled with errors. Justine served for the set, and faced no resistance for match point. Final Score 6-1 6-3 in 52 minutes --
