http://www.henin-hardenne.be/bin/index.asp?lang=en 18/10/2006: It's been exactly a month that Justine has lived with her right knee injury from the Fed Cup finals in Charleroi. After a total rest recovery program ordered by her doctors for a few weeks, a light resumption of physical training started last week of aqua jogging, and on the bicycle. She started sprint drills on the weekend, and now Justine finallly returned on court at the beginning of this week. Calmly, she strikes the ball again in company of coach Carlos. There are forehands, volleys, serves, and 1-handed backhands, but still very prudently. In three weeks the Sony Ericsson WTA Championships will commence. Justine will be, regardless of what happens, number one in the race the day before the last major tournament of the year. She gives everything in her work, and training to be able to appear among the world's elite female tennis players of the 2006 season. It's however still too early, Justine cannot ensure her presence in Madrid yet. It will depend on how her training program progresses. We ask for your patience and understanding.
