Dubai's annual rainfall is usually five days a year, and quarterfinals day Thursday at this year's Dubai Duty Free Women's Open happened to be one of them. Yesterday's weather allowed only one match after nearly five hours of delay to be played, Amelie Mauresmo versus Svetlana Kuznetsova, and that stopped in the midst of a tiebreaker for the first set. The revised schedule will have all quarterfinalists working two matches in one day, if they move into the next round. The semi-finals will be played later in the day, with proper rest period for players; again weather permitting. The Dubai Duty Free Women's Open will be televised internationally on all Sony Ericsson WTA broadcasters, but Justine's quarterfinal against Francesca Schiavone will be on Court One, thus unlikely to be televised. If the Belgian wins, and makes the semi-finals this match will be aired live from Center Court. Please check your local tv listings for exact times, and dates.
