Frank Isola reports that a person familiar with Joe Johnson's thinking
conceded that Johnson would likely have no choice but to accept the Hawks'
maximum-salary contract offer.
Such an offer would provide Johnson an extra $30 million.
Johnson was raised in Arkansas and may be concerned about playing in a large
city like New York.
