標題[問題] 請問94年高應大金融所財管

題目是這樣的：
a company has earnings available for common stockholders of $2 million
and 500,000 shares of common stock outstanding at $60 per share.
The firm is currently comtemplating the payment of $2 per share in cash
dividends.
Question:
If the firm can repurchase stock at $62 per share,how many shares can be
purchased in lieu of making the proposed cash dividend payment?
自己寫的答案是 2*500,000=1,000,000
1,000,000/62=16,129.0323股
不知道自己這樣想是不是對的?因為感覺怪怪的
