: MacCrory's conversation was --- : she could never tell a story, chiefly because
: she always forgot it, and she was never guilty of a witticism unless by
: accident
: (A) scintillating
: (B) unambiguous
: (C) perspicuous
: (D) stultifying
: (E) facetious
1) D (It only can be D). She was incapable of telling a story (telling
stories should be an easy task to ordinary people, right?), and not at all
witty unless by accident. Therefor she was a dull, slow-minded, even stupid
person.
