最近新片"頂尖對決" the prestige

看了movie板才知道
查了一下偉氏字典字源
它的本意是是
「魔術師的把戲」 " conjuror's trick"
French, from Middle French, conjuror's trick, illusion, from Latin praestigiae,

prae- + stringere
to bind tight more at STRAIN
