Students attending the schools that did not offer enrichment programs : had no other opportunities to develop interest in culture and the arts. : 題目意思是說，對文化和藝術有興趣，可以提高學業成績。最近一項研究顯示，有提供藝 : 術和音樂欣賞的學校同學學業分數比沒有提供這些課程的學校同學來的高。 : 我選 (E)，但答案是 (C)。看了一下之後，我覺得 (C) 是 ok 的。但為何 (E) 錯呢? 其實如果原po一開始有先讀問句，認知到這題是假設題， 並且預測出對假設題的正確思路時，就不會被E選項混淆了。 那麼，什麼是實戰中對這題正確的處理方法呢？ 1. 先讀題目問句，發現是假設題。 2. 假設題有兩種可能的答案：主動假設與被動假設。 (1) 主動假設：銜接斷橋。 觀念教學：http://dustingmat.blogspot.tw/2015/07/blog-post_22.html 約20%的假設題是走這個方向。「不一定」以否定字眼寫出來。 （原po可能是以為假設的答案都要用否定字才會避開C） 如何發現是主動假設？觀察點為：結論中出現其他句中沒有出現的新概念。 所以這時候應該要主動留意結論中是否有其他句沒有出現的概念。 這裡你會發現是「an interest in culture and the arts」（有興趣） 因此，C選項有直接將「有興趣」連到證據中所述的「有program的學校」， 再連到「學業表現高分」。完成銜接斷橋。 而E選項提到的opportunities to develop interest...非但沒有銜接斷橋， 反而還創造了一個新概念「opportunities」，也就是多斷了一座橋： 「誰說『有機會發展興趣』就等於『有興趣』？」 ---以下是在說其他假設題中，若沒有發現明顯新概念時，接下來的步驟--- 3. 若是沒有發現新概念，則排除主動假設銜接斷橋的可能， 此時，假設題的答案必走： (2) 被動假設：除卻意外（或稱排除削弱）。 觀念教學：http://dustingmat.blogspot.tw/2015/03/assumption.html 約80%的假設題走這個方向。正確選項必以否定敘述寫出。 這時，我們就可以先把剩下的選項中不以否定敘述撰寫的通通刪光光。 接下來再以「否定weaken」的檢查法檢查剩餘選項。 （上面連結中有詳細介紹如何輕鬆檢查：用「就不要」這三個字來思考合理性） 即可百分百選得正確答案。 p.s.
