基金板各位晚安: 最近有收到TD-Ameritrade寄信要求填寫FTIN表格，從信內容得知，若在今年12/8前海外 用戶沒有填寫，則明年1/1起會正式被視為美國課稅帳戶，所有相關資本利得會被課徵28% 的稅，希望我的理解沒錯，表格裡有段文字 Please associate this non-U.S. taxpayer identification number with the Form W-8 on file for the above referenced account holder 因此順手去翻了之前開戶填寫的表格，發現在taxpayer identification number我填n/a 在W-8表格中我找到一段note: if you are resident in a FATCA partner jurisdiction (ie., a Model 1 IGA jurisdiction with reciprocity), certain tax account information may be provided to your jurisdiction of residence. 到這裡我猜測應該當時填W-8表格時台美應該沒有Model 1 IGA協定 ~ 在信中看到一段文字 However, if your country has an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) with the United States and requires a foreign tax identifying number, TD Ameritrade cannot accept the Reasonable Explanation Form in lieu of that number. google了一下發現台美有IGA但是在Model 2 所以我自己猜測要填 REASONABLE EXPLANATION 這一部分，想問大家都直接勾第一個選項 還是選擇解釋原因? 其實我不是很懂它第一個選項的問法在說啥? 沒有被合法要求取得稅 籍TIN的證明...? 想知道一下大家的意見，第一次在Fund版發文，如果覺得我問得不好請見諒 --
