我是個高中生 可A我ID 在立法院住好久了 我讀的事雙語部 老外都對這次的學運很支持並且很好奇 英文老師便叫我寫一篇關於這次的詩 拿上來分享一下 3/23 executive yuan incident It was so dark yet I could see co clearly because our courage illuminated the crumbling democracy trepidation pervaded the atmosphere so did every single beat of our hearts and our tears dripping down from our cheeks My parents kept calling but I never picked up I texted them I’m doing the right thing no worries and be proud of me The crowd yelled ”police back off.” and so did I Then I saw a woman being dragged away by the police Her face was twisted yet was the most beautiful face I’ve ever seen Then I saw batons and shields swinging Beating the people in front of me Will the beat me? Will the beat me? I questioned My heart was filled with fear and anger When the police came to me, I yelled “Do you know I’m also fighting for your kids?” They didn’t answer Then I was dragged out by two police Blood was everywhere So close to me that I could feel the heat Many were crying Making me so guilty cause I felt so vulnerable Against my country The way our anger and sorrow mixed under our skin has become a storm You don’t see the lightening But you hear the echoes as we scream We are not blood-thirsty But advocating for justice Protecting every individuals’ right Under this diabolical dictatorship Tonight I cannot sleep I keep questioning We were unarmed, what’s the need?
