Department: Investment Management x 1 Business Development x 1 Position: Investment Management - As an Investment Management Graduate you will gain a deep insight into Investm ent Management (Portfolio Management and Research). Since the Investment Management track started in 2005, a great many graduates have had the chance to become excellent investment professionals at AllianzGI. This track is structured around job rotations between the Portfolio Managemen t, Research and Sales department. It is designed to get you up and running in Portfolio Management or Research, with the objective of achieving identified p ermanent role within one of our teams after the program. A key advantage of the programme is that it involves studying towards the Char tered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification. You are expected to achieve CFA l evel I and II after completion of the graduate program. No two days are alike. You'll learn through experience and generate your own i deas, challenge other peoples' views and debate the rights and wrongs of a rec ommendation. You will get a growing exposure to the markets, to clients and ma ke an increasing impact on investment decisions and new business presentations . Business Development- At Allianz Global Investors the Sales function ensures a client-centric busine ss development strategy aimed at sustainable, profitable growth, and building first-class client relationships. We work for many clients around the world - from pension funds, large and smal l, to blue chip multinationals, from charitable foundations to families, indiv iduals and their advisers. Developing a detailed appreciation of each client is the essential first step in creating or implementing an investment strategy to help achieve their goals. This track is the best choice if you want to learn how our client-centric busi ness development strategy makes AllianzGI unique. As a Business Development Graduate you will gain deep insight into Allianz Glo bal Investors’ value chain, as well as an understanding of the asset manageme nt business. The track involves three to five job rotations, namely: Sales, Investment Func tion, Products, Business Functions (e.g. Risk Management, Operations, Finance) . However, the main focus will be on Sales. After successfully completing the program you will work in a business developm ent or client-facing role. With our extensive range of institutional and private clients you will encount er a broad variety of requirements, learning through experience. You will gene rate your own ideas for customised products and risk management strategies, an d debate your recommendations and ideas with your colleagues. An additional advantage is that the program involves completing at least Level 1 of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) curriculum.
