His own identity : was fading out into a grey impalpable world: the solid : world itself, which these dead had one time reared and : lived in, was dissolving and dwindling. : 引用余 Dubliners 最後一章 : the DEAD : 好強的文字 : 之前所舖陳的故事情截 : 最後爆發 : 讀者會被吸入 : 我才知道為什麼要把他歸類成浪漫主義作者 ^^^^^^^^^^^^ 我也想要知道為何原PO會覺得因此他是浪漫主義作者 我念完the dead的感覺是一種"人生的最終體悟" 從小我的愛,到民族國家的共感 在這篇小故事裡,都發揮得淋漓盡致 也難怪Joyce會把它放在都柏林人的最後一章... 對這些很有興趣者,可以看Ellman寫他的文學傳記,有很多有意思的點可以深思 anyway....為何浪漫主義(Romanticism)呢? 浪漫主義對我所知,是一種對"完全自我"的肯定 我想Wordsworth是個比較中肯的浪漫主義份子,若是比較極端或許就是Byron之類的 容我這麼一說,浪漫主義在英國文學過程中,應該是一種對於自我意義的追逐 內在的探索和愛戀,比外在的關懷來的多很多... 我覺得我最喜歡的Worthwords的一句話就是 Spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings (這種瞬間和即時的美感的感動,包含著解放以及樸實的純粹浪漫) 我覺得或許原PO的讀後感是很有浪漫主義式的感動 但是小說本身,似乎與此有點差距....? 就算是這段引錄,我仍覺得"寫實"(Realism)的意味比較大 而且添加了一些意識流的運作(但也不全然)... ps.我記得我念完這篇的時候,有種逐漸飄向宇宙深淵的感覺 (他的從核心向無盡外部擴散的結尾) : ----------- : 我記得 : 全面反擊 : 劇情在最後幾分鐘 "急轉直下" "全面反擊" : 結構應該是天平的兩端 : JAMES JOYCE 的處理 : 用 一 舉起了 九 : 卻絲毫不遜色 : 強!!! -- http://www.wretch.cc/blog/mevisli 日記心情狂語隨想評論感想 如此而已... --
