Rui Alves stadium in Madeira with three points after Nani – on fire – made the difference and hiked the Leoes (Lions) up to a joint first place with six points won out of six in play. This marked Sporting's first entirely successful outing to Madeira in five years, Nani (12 min) spoiling the fact that the hosts looked like that this journey would be another fruitless one for the Lisbon team.
