Mark van Bommel has rejected reports linking him with a possible
move to Bayern Munich.
Reports had suggested Bayern were lining up a move for the Barcelona
star as a possible replacement for Michael Ballack.
Bayern coach Felix Magath revealed his admiration for van Bommel and
this fuelled speculation of a bid, but the Dutch international has
moved to pledge his future to Barcelona.
The former PSV Eindhoven ace insists he is happy at Camp Nou and is
not considering leaving.
"I am happy here," van Bommel told El Mundo Deportivo.
"I have a contract until 2008 and am not thinking about leaving."
Van Bommel also played down suggestions that he talked with Dutch
international team-mate Roy Makaay about moving to Germany.
"He is a friend of mine and I often speak to him, but I have not talked
to him about going to Bayern," added van Bommel.
