標題[傷兵] Garrett Richards

Yahoo Sports' Jeff Passan reports that Garrett Richards has a torn right
ulnar collateral ligament and is expected to need Tommy John surgery.
Multiple other outlets have confirmed the report. The Angels cited fatigue
and dehydration when they scratched Richards from Friday's scheduled start
versus the Rays, but Passan says they found the UCL tear while examining the
righty on Thursday. It's absolutely brutal news for the club, as Richards is
far and away their best starter. He would be sidelined until around midseason
next year. Passan says that Andrew Heaney has UCL damage, too, but will try
to rehab the injury for now. The Angels should have an update on their
pitchers later Friday.
