Reds placed LHP Tony Cingrani on the 15-day disabled list with left shoulder
tendinitis.
Cingrani was uncharacteristically shaky in the Reds' loss to the Cubs on
Wednesday, yielding three earned runs on six hits and two walks while lasting
only four innings. And now there's an explanation for that. It's not known
how long the left-hander will be out. The Reds may have to turn to Jeff
Francis to fill the hole.
