Kerry Wood will be sidelined for the next six-to-eight weeks with a strained
right latissimus dorsi muscle.
He's not going to be available for big league action until early May, at the
earliest. Chris Perez, acquired last season from the Cardinals in a package
for Mark DeRosa, will serve as the Indians' closer in the early going and
could potentially retain the job if he pitches well enough. An MRI on
Thursday revealed the strain underneath Wood's right shoulder.
Wood果然又痛痛了,預計要6-8個星期才能回來
所以需要closer的趕快去搶Chris Perez吧
開季後至少還能用一個多月
