OF Josh Hamilton will have a second opinion on his abdominal strain/sports
hernia on Monday in Philadelphia. Hamilton, who has been on the DL for the
last week, will see Dr. William Meyer, who has pioneered a procedure that
usually has a shorter recovery period than the traditional surgery. Even if
he has the newer procedure, he's likely to be out until at least the All-Star
break.
