-language rights from ESPN to a combination of USA Network and Fandango for $100
million over five seasons, sources briefed on the move told The Athletic.
The Premier League, with its deals with NBC/Peacock and USA, receives around $45
0 million per year in American TV rights money.
The decrease in the Bundesliga’s fees from $30 million to $20 million per year
represents the changing climate for non-American football and NBA rights in the
domestic landscape.

Disney-owned sports broadcaster ESPN has secured rights in the US to La Liga unt
il the end of the 2028/29 season.
Financial terms of the eight-year deal were not made public, but Sportico report
s that ESPN will pay the Spanish soccer body US$175 million a year, equal to som
e US$1.4 billion over the duration of the agreement. The sports business outlet
added that it is now the most valuable US media rights contract for an overseas
soccer league.
