few days ago... i was doing an assigned pair work with my classmate, and everything went smoothly till we came into a question... "name a word about personality" i though up a word, sycophant. "what's that?" asked my classmate 'it describes someone who flatters excesively , or ... an apple polisher' "so that's a B****" my classmate said the 'B word' without a second thought during the break, he even asked what's the use of knowing difficult words. for God's sake, we are taking the "advanced vocabulary" class... what's more, he told me that knowing hard words is a waste of time, because i can hardly use any one of those words in my sentence or so.
