I have a short-term goal that am want to remember whole countries' name all over the world, before the end of March this year. It means that I just have under 60 days of time, because the February only has 28 days. So, do I have any idea to fulfill the goal? I made this goal seven days ago, and the Africa is the first continent I chosen that am just found a paper of calendar, drew the map of Africa on the back of the paper, and then, wrote the countries' name down on the map. I did the same thing more than three times, but not in the same day, and before I went to bed, I try to consider the names of African countries by asked this question," How many countries are locate in Africa and what are their name?" and pay attention at that area... Believe it or not, when closed the eyes, I could see the figure of continent of Africa in the darkness, and remember 90% of the name of countries and their correct location. I don't have clue why some countries name that am always forget, such as Tunisa, Senegal, Saharaui, Botswana and Eritrea. But I have self-confidence that can keep them in my mind very soon. Maybe you suppose that after remember whole the African countries's name, and then I starting study another area. Unfortunately, you are wrong if real consider that. In fact, I had drew another continents already, and feel familiar with them, for example, Latin America, Middle East and Europe. Among them, Latin America was easyest to remember, probably because only have fourteen nations there. I bet you will say that the North America is much easyer than Latin America to remember. Yes, I agree with you, we all know that only Canada and United States there... May you curious why I study map and made a short-term goal like that? If so, I am sorry, because I don't know how to elucidate the answer, but, the day before yesterday I went to library and pick a magazine which has so many articles about modern weapon in it. In Chinese, the name of the magazine is 全 球防衛雜誌. Be honest, I am not an expert of modern weapon, and when read this kind of magazine, so many differet type of weapon I cannot realize how powerful they are, in my opinion, I only know that nuclear weapon is best...for killing... In that day, I got some information from the magazine that Brazil bought some new type of helicopter, the government of Poland decided send more soldiers into the battle field of Afghan... I was so glad... I was not glad about the detail of the info themself, but the nations' name I felt familiar, when see the words of countries in the first time, I immediately know where they are. Abovementioned, I assume that am already got the benefit by study map. At the end, hoping that I myself can fulfill the goal before the time limit I made. -- 必有一得。 --
