標題[Talk] what english learning method worked for you?

for those of you who's never studied abroad yet speaks fluent english in
taiwan, what is your secret?
do you do language exchange?
do you really talk to people over msn online to practice english?
do you really try to watch TV without captions?
or do you take english lessons?
just wondering, is all.
also, how would you define "fluent"?
