Kaoshiung helding the 8th World Games should be something that glorify the reputation of Taiwan but somehow the people in the north taiwan include some specific media whose color is blue always think less of this campaign and choose not to participate or even ignore this big event. I feel very sad and worried about this kind situation which that people in taiwan are begin to become two part of people. When the other part start to have the edge, the other part will try everything to pull them down. Is this a right direction and attitude for tawinese? I know there are still some minority of people of the north that maintain neutral and impartial on political issues and are willing to join this exceptional event that taiwan for the fisrt time in sixty years has a chance to held an international sport games. I still fell miserable and unhappy that sports issue become infected by political prejudice. An ex senior diplomat Mr.XXX who wrote an editorial on newspapers made a critiacal point on Kaoshiung spending so much budget on this meaningless campaign and he use incise vocabulary trying to mock the persons who devote himeself in it. Not to mention the media rather report political news and try to supress the success and fame of world games in kaoshiung. Raising up in kaoshiung, I have deep feelings in this city. In taiwan, people always talks about taipei about how the fancy and modern life they lead. Some people even discriminate the people on the south, think less of them. I can't help but to regard these people pethetic and dull. Most of the resource and benefits are devoured by the north, however, these people dont feel grateful, instead they use these advantages to label people who being superior or imperior and feel no disgrace. I wish that the government should try to fix the imblance situation between the south and north , people in every district should have the rights to recieve fair and identical treatments. No one in this island is more superior than others. The success in Kaohsing world games should be some leading force in changing this situation and no one should be jealous or unsatisfied about it. As two of the municipality in taiwan, kaoshiung always being less considered in all kinds of aspects for so long. And we want to said that " enough is enough". Please give more attention in the World Games. Prejudice should not be the reason to refuse to attend this sport carnival. --
