Well, i think i get your point now :p You want to clarify your attitude but worried about the subsequent relationship. Its true that to refuse somebody's requirement is always a tough task, not to mention a court. However, maybe that's not so complicate when you allready confirm your thought. I dont suggest you to say something like "you are not my type" at the begining ,especially if he haven't concede his pursue clearly. Making excuses might be a good choice and it would be better if he is award of those excuses are not true. Because this behavior imply that he is not your type instead of saying it directly. Susequently, if he doent give up and shows his court abviously then you finally have to say those word directly. What would it be next? still friends? be embarrassed? come on, dont worrie about that" this is not your puzzle. I mean this is totall decided by the person you refuse. If he is a optimistic person he will be generous enough to maintain the relationship with you, moreover, become your good good good friend. On the oppiside, if he get angry and become peculiar you might be glad that you do not accept his persuit because this indicate the lack of his personal attitude.
