Ha..I'm a Australia born chinese living in Taiwan I get that kind of feeling that conversation abilities is also degenerative...However, I try my best to talk to foreigners in the country...Just sitting down and chatting for the whole afternoon. I thought reading the English newspaper would also help me but I was definetly wrong...This is due to the paper seemed to bore me alot. However, chatting to foreigners is a good advice I would give you :) Good Luck --
