this is a real story between me and my 2 friends. one is an italian who lives in Napoli. I don't know why but this italian friend (male) wants to make love with me very much, what he says the most is -Voglio fare amore con te- which means "I want to make love with you" All I can guess is that italians are pretty romantic, and I consider this as "Italian humour" (by the way, of course I didn't have sex with him) also there's a friend (male) from Paris. Actually he's a french who's crazy about Taiwan, and is now planning working in Taiwan. here's a conversation between us. "Bonjour, I am xxx, ca fait combien?"he said. "Bien, merci.mais je parles un peu francais est tres mal." "c'est bon, I speak English, too, but I hope you can understand my french humour."he said. "oh, c'est tres bien, and I hope you can understand my 'american-styled' humour." "so do you live very close to Tainan?" he said. "well, about 2 hrs by car from Tainan to my place" "oh, you worth for 2 hrs. (french humour) " "so you plan to travel to Taiwan again?" "No, I want to work here." "well, good, there are some french restaurent in TW, so don't worry about your food. although the price is very high. guess they put too much truffle." "hmmm, maybe because of those handsome french waiters. But it's not a problem if you have dinner with me (french humour)." "oh, it's my pleasure." "I can be your french waiter. (french humour)" "oh, you are so nice." My conclusion: french humour vs italian humour (polite) (impolite) (indirect) (direct) (have dinner with) (make love with) --
