Has anyone actually heard about or been to the ghost-mask house in Jioufen? I went there with my cousin last weekend, having a really exciting and eye-opening experience. Not being a bold person, having had paid for thirty-dollar ticket to a middle-age man who was in charge of the house, I just step in hand in hand with my cousin without hesitation.That was just amazing!It did give me the creeps the moment I was in the house, with all those grim faces seemingly staring at and saying HI to me. @@ Those house owner, Mr. Wu, also the producer of all those masks, kindly introduced all his masterpieces to my cousin and me, the only customers in the house, and told us that he had the supernatrual ability to see and communicate with those "good brothers", who paid him a visit once in a while, especially on cloudy or rainy days>"< According to him, the masks looked 90% like his "invisible visitors", each of which bore the distinctive characteristics of the owner when still alive. Mr.Wu also mentioned that he wasn't born to be with that ability, which came natrually to him years ago when he was still a great cook in Pennsylvania. Ever since then, he became a full-time masks producer. During the visit, my cousin and I even discussed, in a very low voice in case "someone" might heard it, that which masks we would or would like to resemble once we die, yet neither of us gave any conclusion since all the masks in the houses were hardly "desirable".
